Sailing Yacht and Sailing Regatta Prints
Well established as the premier classic yacht regatta in the world, Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta represents an era when all yachts were things of beauty and grace with fine lines and swathes of canvas. One of the most renowned Classic Races worldwide, the Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta takes place every April, just before Antigua Sailing Week and is hosted by the Antigua Yacht Club. The day before the official start of the Yacht Regatta is the The Boat International Concours d’Elegance, an opportunity for owners and crew to show off the care and attention they give to their yacht, with prizes for both privately and professionally maintained yachts. Judging takes place in one day, where the beauty and spectacle of over 50 classic yachts anchored at the Antigua Yacht Club Marina is a truly magnificent sight. Very few are as beautiful as "Big Ti" although Mariella built in 1938 is not far behind. This painting featuring these magnificent yachts is a study in elegance past and future.
