The Studio is located in a
traditional Cape Cod setting. The spring and summer months are a riot of color
and the more than 150 rhododendrons and azalea plantings combined with colorful
annuals are a joy for visitors and locals alike. The original property was
acquired in 1928 by Julia O’Malley-Keyes’ father-in-law, John V. Day, who is
responsible for the majority of the fabulous perennials on the property. In
1997, Julia’s husband started the construction of the studio/gallery
addition -
a labor of love and a gift to his wife. Julia has made the gallery a warm and
welcoming place for visitors and our fondest wish is that you find your time
with us relaxing and artistically enriching. You will always find one of the
artists working at the studio and you are welcome to watch as we create. If you
