Marine Art Giclée Print from an Original Oil Painting
Menemsha Harbor on beautiful Martha's Vineyard is a study of extremes.
Magnificent yachts tie up to the dock while their owners run over for a fresh
bucket of fried clams, fish chowder, a beer or a lobster dinner to be enjoyed on
the decks of their luxurious vessels while men sweating from a day of hard labor
bring in the catch from often dangerous seas to be consumed by folks who know
little about the fisherman's life. I spoke to men who's families have been
fishing for generations and know the sea like and intimate friend. Their
counterparts, in tidy sailing outfits, proud of their lovely yachts spoke to me
of the fun and free time they enjoy aboard their multi million dollar sea bound
homes... Menemsha Harbor is a haven for the working man and another beautiful
spot for the wealthy.
