Cape Cod Sailboat Giclée Print from an Original Oil Painting
The design for the "Doughdish" was drawn up in 1914 by famed sailboat designer
Nathaniel Herreshoff for yachtsmen who wanted a training sailboat for their
children. This "Buzzard's Bay Boy's Boat," has never lost its popularity. You
will find many of these perfect little sailboats bobbing at anchor in Quissett
harbor waiting to go out for a day sail. sunny day on Cape Cod brings out the best in all of us. Colorful
flowers and window boxes abound and some very creative islanders will even
decorate their rocking chairs.
